For some days now I went on facebook and saw a picture of someone who I have met before, this person is currently going to my former school in Nigeria, this is not to brag or to make boast or anything but I want you to understand where this is coming from.
She is one of the daughters to a very notable actress in Nigeria. Her pictures went viral and some people said she looks " sexy" and that she takes after her mother "like mother like daughter" "hot front and back" and all those types of words. She is only 14 years old, obviously any mother would be upset to see that their child's photo is going across the internet in that manner, but this leads back to my point.
Proverbs 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it".
You cannot sow apples and expect to reap oranges, that can never happen no matter how much you pray, fast, sing praises and what have you. I don't know what to say because I went through this young lady's instagram and the pictures I saw .. you can only image what she will do when she becomes 18!
I don't blame this child that much I blame the mother, A woman of her caliber should have limits and boundaries especially when it comes to the social world. I am not judging her but based on her pictures a married woman like that should not have photos like that out there for men to salivate on. Being the role model that she is as the scriptures would say
Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
When one is famous a lot is expected of you that is the truth. I am not happy that photos of her daughter would be classified with words like "sexy" and all of that but let us be sincere, you title yourself with the word "sexy" so why are you upset that people have classified your daughter in like manner? that is the type of example you are setting for your children, that it's okay to be called sexy and to have men look at your backside and give all kinds of names about it. So as she blames the media she has herself to blame as well. Please let us read our bible well , I am not judging her parenting skills neither am I criticizing her but I want to use this situation and bring it to our awareness
